Atika's Wedding Reception

Here are some pix taken during the wedding ceremony of my younger sister Atika  . She is my sixth sister. It was held at my parents' house in Taman Sri Muda Shah Alam. My parents openned up 6 canopies for the guesses. The foods were all delicious thanks to our family caterer. As usual it was a successful event and may Atika and her husband leave happily ever after  . Amin.

Miqhail's First Birthday!

|
Today is Miqhails's 1st birthday  . How fast time went by 0) . Miqhail has become such a cute little boy. He smiles a lot and always OK with every one  . Anybody could hold him and he would just smile at the person without feeling scared at all. Sometimes I wonder if every baby boy is like that. I could still remember how Aina would cry her heart out when somebody not close to her try to hold her or even get near her  . Guess I should feel worry also if a real stranger get close to Miqhail. He won't make a sound. May Allah protects him from bad people out there.

Hari Raya has come again . After 2 consecutive years celebrate at my parents' house in Shah Alam, this year we went back to Pahang on the raya eve.
This is also the first time we celebrate Hari Raya in my new home . The feelings are great, I enjoy decorating my home for the festival. So many wild decoration ideas came to my mind and yet so little time to spend and so many home items to buy  . I guess I better don't get too ambitious, better take one step at a time. At least that's what my hubby advice  .
The sad thing about Raya this year was that my eldest child, Aina was admitted at the DEMC (Darul Ehsan Medical Centre) due to Dengue with Pneumonia (as diagnosed by the doctor)  . It started on the 29th of September (Monday) evening. She fell sick with high fever. I brought her to see the doctor before going back home town. Hoping that she might recover before Hari Raya day. But she didn't. The fever was on and off. The temperature got very high especially during the nights. She kept on feeling weak day after day until the 5th day of Raya and that was when we went back to Selangor and straight away went to DEMC to have a blood test. I got so panic and broke down with tears every time I see her struggling and nagging with headaches and pain .
When we reached DEMC, at this time, the temperature has gone up to 40 degree fahrenheit. Even the doctor was a bit shocked. She quickly instructed me to bath my daughter to cool down the body heat. Then one of the nurse insert a pill thru the rectum to speed up the cooling process. After done all these, the temperature went down to 39.5. She got admitted since Sunday evening until Wednesday Evening. Every day the lab technician would enter the room to get a blood sample to test. Because the number of platlet went down, she was confirmed to have dengue positive. I broke down hearing the blood result from the doctor. Each day I prayed to God hoping that the platlet would go up and my prayer was answered. The platlet went up and stabilizing . It was such a relief. I could see my daughter's big smile again  .
I pray to God to not having to face the same situation anymore. I couldn't bare to see my children suffer. I would rather take all the pain and sufferings from them. Everyday, when I think back the moments in the hospital and what we had went thru, I feel so thankful to God for I know that He had tested me and my hubby and that He had given both of us the strength to face it and return my daughter's health so that we can continue raising her and shower our love to her.

Ramadhan Buffet with the Big Family

Last week, I treated my parents and hubby a Ramadhan Buffet at Sheraton Hotel. Actually the occasion was as a birthday gift to my mom and hubby which fell on 31/08/08 (Mom) and 09/09/08 (hubby) .
There were lots of mouth watering dishes such as Tradisional Malaysian Food, delicious bakeries, Roasted Lamb and much much more  . My siblings joined the dinner and that made it more marrier. We enjoyed the food very much and I am glad that we had the chance to gether the family every Ramadhan. Just for the record, last year we went to Sunway Hotel . 
I guess every once in a while it's OK to spend more as long as it is for a good deed and i am glad that God had given me the chance to do good to my loved ones . Hopefully next year I can do the same thing again.

Aina First Day of School

My daughter starts schooling today . Kindergarten actually, but it sure feels like real school when you have to prepare lots of stuffs in the morning just to get her ready .
First to iron the uniform, then to wake her up and bath her (I tell you this is the hardest part  ), then to prepare her books and stuffs into her cute pink Barbie school bag, her tumbler and to finally letting her go under the care of the teachers .
Me and hubby kept talking to her about going to school way back since early this year. Hoping that she would get her mind ready for the changes. Luckily today she had taken it calmly even though I could see her worried face 0) . I pray to god that she could adapt the new environment and absorb whatever new things that she might learn.
As for her brother Miqhail, because of the young age, only 9 months old, he didn't seem to care when I passed him to the babysitter of the same kindergarten. He didn't cry at all in fact always smile as usual. Atta boy!

We are moving to our new home soon . It is located in Subang Bestari (on the way to Sungai Buluh). We bought the house from my sister whom had moved to Shah Alam Sec. 13. This is our second house. The first one we bought in Saujana Putra which is now left undeveloped by 'TALAM'.
The house is still under renovation and scheduled to complete by end of June 2008. Guess by early July we can start packing and move .

This day is the 4th birthday of my dearest daughter Aina. Again this year we celebrated at my parents' house in Shah Alam. That Friday evening, after rushing home from work, we stopped at the cake house and got Aina a beautiful and rich Chocolate Cake (special request from her). Thanks a lot to my mom for preparing a delicious fried macaroni along with fried drummets.
This year we got Aina a cute pink tricycle (chosed by herself), a Mini Mouse bag pack (her granny's gift), a Mini Mouse treasury box, a Pooh's note book, a pencil case with stationery set (her granny's gift) and a mini telekung.

This time entry i'm gonna update on our latest family trip to Terengganu. We stayed 1 night in one of the chalet by the beach and 2 nights in my sister's rest house. It was an enjoyable trip and we spent it with peaceful mind 
.
It was the same time as the Perkampungan Hadhari in Terengganu. We got to see the replicas of mosques from all over the world and we actually went in the Crystal Mosque  . Yup it is a beatiful mosque. We couldn't perform prayers at that time because it was opened for visiting only.
Then we went to Pasar Payang and as usual bought Keropok Lekor and few of other keropoks as well.

'Welcome to the world', My Son

My little Miqhail has arrived at last  . It has been a long process, and a lot of waiting. I'm sure my little boy will add a great deal to the joy I already find in the familly. May Allah bless you with good health, long life and happiness, prosperity and great wisdom .
My little Miqhail was borned in Putrajaya Hospital at exactly 8.05 pm that Wednesday evening of 14/11/2007. Actually the due date was on the 4th of December but because of the condition referred by the doctor that my water was not enough and reducing so I was admitted the day earlier. I was given a remedy to force labour and only god knows how painfull it was to get the 'door' open cm by cm...As one hour turned to two, and two to three and on and on till the five hour, finally after it was open only 3cm, the doctor pinched the water bag and I was then wheeled to the delivery room.
Still the door opened very slowly, now the pain from the rapid contraction was even more unbearable. Thank god my husband was inside giving me all the support I needed for that traumatic moment just like the first time . Eventually after it was open 7cm, I felt the labour pains and quickly gave 2 strong pushes and out he went . Nothing could describe the feeling I had when my little boy safely left the womb and entered the world outside .
